Our Capabilities

Our Welding & Fabrication Services

Four distinct service lines — each designed for industrial-scale work where precision and structural integrity matter most.

Replace: Bore build-up welding
01 — Line Boring Support

Bore Build-Up Welding

The critical first step in bore restoration. When bore walls are worn beyond direct machining limits, we rebuild the surface using controlled MIG welding before precision boring. This is where welding and line boring work as one integrated service.

  • Builds up worn bore walls to correct diameter
  • Controlled heat input prevents distortion
  • Prepares surface for precision machining
  • Used on excavators, cranes, loaders & marine components
  • Directly supports AutoBore Pro line boring services
Replace: Heavy equipment structural repair
02 — Heavy Equipment

Heavy Equipment Structural Repair

Cracked frames, stress-fractured booms, and damaged mounting points on construction and mining machinery require more than a patch weld. We carry out full structural assessment, controlled pre-heat procedures, and engineered repair sequences for critical load-bearing components.

  • Cracked excavator frames & chassis
  • Boom and stick crack repair & reinforcement
  • Bucket lip and cutting edge repair
  • Counterweight & mounting point restoration
  • Crane and loader structural reinforcement
On-site field welding
03 — Field Operations

On-Site Industrial Welding

Our field welding teams are fully mobilised with generator-powered industrial welding units, PPE, and consumables — ready to deploy to your construction site, mine, port, or facility anywhere in Nigeria. No workshop visit required.

  • Self-contained portable welding units
  • Generator power for remote site operations
  • Emergency structural reinforcement
  • Field repair of live plant and machinery
  • Nationwide rapid mobilisation capability
Replace: Custom steel fabrication
04 — Custom Work

Custom Steel Fabrication

From one-off machine components to production batches of structural brackets, our fabrication workshop produces quality steel work to drawing or sample. We work with mild steel, high-tensile plate, and structural sections — cut, formed, and welded to specification.

  • Mounting brackets & flanges
  • Machine guards & access platforms
  • Custom wear plates & liners
  • Structural steel frames & supports
  • Replacement fabricated components to drawing

Technical Capability

Materials & Welding Methods

Industrial clients need to know exactly what materials we work with and which processes we use. Here is our full technical capability.

Materials We Work With

Mild Steel

Standard structural steel for brackets, frames, plates, and general fabrication. Most common material across all our welding services.

High-Tensile Steel

Specialist high-strength steel used in excavator booms, crane structures, and load-bearing components. Requires pre-heat and controlled cooling procedures.

Cast Iron Repair

Engine blocks, gear housings, and machinery castings repaired using specialist cast iron welding procedures with pre-heat, controlled weld sequencing, and slow cool-down.

Wear-Resistant Plate

Hard-facing and overlay welding on bucket teeth, cutting edges, and wear plates to extend service life in high-abrasion applications.

Welding Processes We Use

MIG Welding (GMAW)

Primary process for structural repair, bore build-up, and fabrication work. High deposition rate, excellent fusion, and consistent quality for mild and high-tensile steel.

Arc Welding (SMAW)

Stick welding for field operations and structural repair where portability and flexibility are essential. Ideal for site work and awkward access positions.

TIG Welding (GTAW)

Precision TIG process for thin sections, root passes, and applications requiring the highest weld quality and appearance — stainless steel and critical components.

Hard-Facing & Overlay

Specialist wear-resistant overlay welding to restore and protect high-abrasion surfaces on buckets, cutting edges, and conveyor components.

How We Work

Our Welding & Fabrication Process

A structured, safety-compliant process that ensures every weld meets structural integrity requirements — not just visual appearance.

01

Inspection & Assessment

Every job starts with a thorough structural inspection of the component. We identify all cracks, wear zones, and failure points before any work begins — and document the full scope of repair required.

  • Visual and dimensional inspection
  • Crack detection and mapping
  • Load and stress assessment
  • Scope of repair documented and agreed
02

Surface Preparation

Correct surface preparation is the foundation of a strong, lasting weld. All surfaces are cleaned, ground, and — where required — pre-heated to prevent heat cracking in high-tensile and cast materials.

  • Grinding and cleaning of all weld zones
  • Crack removal by gouging or grinding
  • Pre-heat applied for HT steel & cast iron
  • Joint preparation to correct profile
03

Controlled Welding Process

Welding is carried out using the correct process, consumables, and parameters for the material and application. On structural and high-tensile steel, we follow controlled interpass temperature procedures to prevent distortion and cracking.

  • Correct process & consumable selection
  • Controlled heat input & interpass temperature
  • Weld sequence planned to minimise distortion
  • Multi-pass welding for full-penetration joints
04

Reinforcement & Shaping

After welding, excess weld material is dressed and shaped to the required profile. Where additional reinforcement plates or gussets are required, these are fabricated and fitted as part of the repair sequence.

  • Weld dressing and profile grinding
  • Reinforcement plate fitting where required
  • Dimensional check against specification
  • Controlled cool-down for critical materials
05

Finishing & Quality Inspection

Every completed weld or fabrication is inspected against the agreed specification before being returned to service. We provide a job completion record for all structural repairs, giving you full traceability and documentation.

  • Visual weld inspection to accepted standard
  • Dimensional verification
  • Surface finish and paint preparation
  • Completion record issued to client

Our Workshop Arsenal

Equipment & Capability

The right equipment makes the difference between a patch job and an engineered repair. Here is what we bring to every project.

Industrial MIG Welding Units

Heavy-duty MIG welding machines for high-deposition structural repair and bore build-up work — capable of continuous operation on large section thickness.

TIG Welding Systems

Precision TIG units for cast iron repair, stainless steel work, and applications requiring the highest weld quality and integrity.
