Engineering Projects That Speak for Themselves

We have successfully completed industrial line boring, heavy equipment restoration, and mechanical repair projects for companies across construction, transport, mining, marine, agriculture, and manufacturing sectors. The work shown here represents real equipment, real clients, and real operational challenges β€” solved with precision engineering.

Every project we take on is treated as a critical operation. When your equipment is down, your business is losing money. That is why we arrive prepared, execute with precision, and do not leave until the job meets specification.

We handle the heavy work.
That's our reputation.

Featured Projects

Construction β€” On-Site
Lekki, Lagos
01
Project 01 / Line Boring
Komatsu PC300 Excavator
Boom Pin Bore Restoration

A Komatsu PC300 excavator operating on an active Lekki construction site developed severe play and instability in the boom arm due to badly worn pivot pin bores. The machine was critical to the project's earthworks schedule.

Challenge
Severely worn and out-of-round pivot pin bores on both boom and arm linkage points. Bore diameter had increased by over 6mm from original specification, causing dangerous instability under load and unacceptable operator risk.
Solution
Deployed portable line boring rig on-site without equipment removal. Bores restored to OEM specification using a self-aligning boring bar, precision-fitted hardened steel bushings installed, and full alignment verified with bore gauges.
Result
Full bore alignment and structural integrity restored within 18 hours of team arrival. Machine returned to active service the same day. Client avoided an estimated 4–6 day downtime that off-site removal would have required.
Project 02 / Engine Rebuild
Caterpillar 3306 Industrial
Engine Complete Overhaul

A Caterpillar 3306 diesel engine powering a stationary generator at an industrial facility in Port Harcourt suffered catastrophic failure following sustained operation without adequate cooling system maintenance and missed service intervals.

Challenge
Complete engine seizure due to overheating. Crankshaft journals worn beyond limits, cylinder bores scored and out-of-round, cylinder head warped, and three connecting rods bent. Engine had not been serviced in over 18 months of continuous operation.
Solution
Full engine strip-down and assessment. Crankshaft re-ground to second undersize, cylinder bores re-bored and honed to accept oversize pistons, cylinder head resurfaced and pressure-tested, all bearings and seals replaced to full specification.
Result
Engine restored to full rated output. Comprehensive maintenance schedule established post-overhaul. Client operated the engine for 14 months since rebuild without incident β€” now under our annual service programme.

30-Vehicle Logistics Fleet
Suspension & Engine Programme

A mid-size logistics company operating 30 commercial vehicles on Abuja–Lagos routes approached us after a spike in breakdown frequency, rising fuel consumption, and escalating repair costs over a 6-month period.

Challenge
Multiple vehicles with severely worn suspension bushings, uneven tyre wear indicating misalignment, and three vehicles with failing engines. No structured maintenance records existed β€” the fleet was operating reactively with no prevention strategy in place.
Solution
Full fleet inspection and condition report. Suspension restoration on 22 vehicles, two full engine overhauls, one partial rebuild, and a structured 6-month maintenance programme designed and implemented with a rotating service schedule.
Result
Breakdown frequency reduced by 76% in the 6 months following programme implementation. Measurable fuel savings reported. All 30 vehicles now on structured schedules with full digital service records. Annual contract subsequently signed.
Project 04 / Marine Engineering
Offshore Supply Vessel
Stern Tube Bore Realignment

An offshore supply vessel operating out of Port Harcourt developed severe propeller shaft vibration and increased noise levels following extended deep-water operations. Survey identified the stern tube bore as the primary fault location.

Challenge
Stern tube bore wear of 4.2mm beyond specified tolerance, causing shaft misalignment, cutless bearing destruction, and risk of water ingress. Standard repair would require dry-dock mobilisation β€” estimated at 8–12 days out of service at substantial cost.
Solution
At-berth bore restoration using portable line boring equipment deployed to the vessel. Stern tube bored to precise alignment, new oversized cutless bearing fitted, shaft alignment confirmed with laser measurement. No dry-dock requirement.
Result
Vessel returned to operational service within 36 hours of work commencement. Client saved an estimated 9 days of dry-dock downtime. Shaft vibration eliminated. Vessel subsequently entered a biannual inspection agreement.

Project 05 / Welding & Fabrication
Haul Truck Bucket Rebuild
& Structural Reinforcement

A mining operation in Kano State presented three haul truck dump bodies with severe structural fatigue cracking, worn cutting edges, and bucket floor plate penetration from sustained quarry operation without inspection cycles.

Challenge
Multiple stress fractures in bucket side walls and floor panels, complete cutting edge wear-through on two units, and hinge pin bore elongation causing dump cycle instability. All three trucks were operationally critical to daily production targets.
Solution
On-site structural welding team deployed. Crack repair using correct filler materials with pre-heat protocols, new AR400 wear plate sections installed on floors, cutting edges replaced with hard-faced equivalents, hinge pin bores line-bored back to specification.
Result
All three trucks restored to full structural and operational integrity. Estimated lifespan extension of 24–36 months per unit. Client subsequently adopted quarterly inspection agreement to prevent recurrence.

Before & After

The condition equipment arrives in β€” and the condition it leaves in. This is what precision engineering means in practice.

Our Project Execution Process

Every project β€” from a single bore repair to a full fleet overhaul β€” follows the same disciplined engineering process. This is what separates precision engineering from guesswork.

01
Inspection &
Assessment

Full condition survey of the equipment or fleet. Measurements taken, faults documented, and root cause identified before any work begins.

02
Technical
Planning

Engineering plan developed β€” tooling selected, material specifications confirmed, tolerances defined, and timeline committed to the client before work commences.

03
Precision
Machining

All boring, grinding, welding, and machining executed using calibrated equipment and verified tooling. No approximations β€” only measurement.

04
Testing &
Quality Control

Post-repair measurements taken and recorded. Bore dimensions, alignment, surface finish, and functional operation verified against specification before sign-off.

05
Delivery &
Client Support

Equipment returned to service with full job documentation β€” measurement records, parts used, and maintenance recommendations to prevent recurrence.
